Zion Temple Church of God in Christ was founded in 1921 by Elder Joseph Bowe. In its 92 year existence, it has had three other pastors, the current being Bishop Frank Jefferson Anderson, Jr. Zion Temple is part of the fourth largest denomination in the world, with 6-8 million members worldwide. The founder of the Church of God in Christ is Bishop Charles Harrison Mason (1903), and the current presiding bishop is Bishop Charles Edward Blake.
Bishop Anderson has pastored Zion Temple for 44 years. He's the husband of Joyce Anderson and father of Jeffery Anderson. Bishop Anderson is originally from Morrilton, Arkansas. He came into the saving knowledge of Christ at the age of 17. He was recently appointed to the position of Bishop of the 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Arkansas. He's an anointed man of God with a desire to see people reach their full potential in Christ.
