Every dollar raised through this volunteer-run event directly benefits non-profit Two Top Mountain Adaptive Sports Foundation.
Founded in 2007 at Whitetail Resort in Mercersburg, Penn., Two Top provided 40 lessons to disabled athletes during its first year in operation. In 2012-2013, the cadre of volunteers who operate the nonprofit provided a record 370 lessons. Two-thirds of those lessons went to veterans receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., located roughly an hour and a half away from Whitetail.
The organizers of this nonprofit organization expect demand to continue to skyrocket over the next few years.
In order to continue offering free lessons, meals and lodging to these brave athletes—who never pay a dime for their lessons with Two Top—the 100K Vertical Challenge aims to raise funds for and awareness of this incredible nonprofit.
