101 The One

On July 1st, 2014 the Radio Vermont Group introduced a new concept in local radio with the creation of 101-The One.

This new music network is to provide the adult listening audience a locally produced and locally hosted programming service featuring memorable songs from 1970 to the early 1990’s. Our research has shown that many of America’s favorite recording stars from that period have virtually disappeared from the radio dial.

Our intent is to present a wide variety of quality music with fewer interruptions and less hype than other stations.

Though primarily an entertainment station, 101 - The One has its roots in community service radio pioneered by our flagship station WDEV FM and AM. We are dedicated to serving in the public interest with immediate access to vital news information and severe weather alerts in the tradition of the public good, safety and necessity.
