About Our Inn: The 1777 Americana Inn began as the residence and workshop of master tall case clock maker Jacob Gorgas. Constructed of sandstone and covered in stucco, the inn has experienced numerous transformations throughout its 235-year history, from a millinary shop, stagecoach stop, hotel, restaurant, and doctors' office.
