2017 Northeast Public Safety Expo

The Town of Madawaska Public Safety Departments are looking to bring interest to the Public Safety career path by hosting the Second Annual Northeast Public Safety Expo. It is our hope that this will gain the interest of potential recruits as well as freshen the minds and bodies of our current Licensed personnel; our main focus of this Expo will be on the health and wellness of our First Responders.
This event is open to all Public Safety Departments (Police, Fire and EMS) as well as: Regional Hospitals, Emergency Room Nurses and Physicians and our Canadian Counterparts. Our mission is to gather Aroostook County Public Safety personnel in one central location, to unify Public Safety providers, and to provide critical (and free) CEH credits to keep up with newly implemented CEH requirements. Our event is August 19th and 20th, 2017.

Our expo is going to be located in Madawaska, at the Madawaska Multi Purpose Building on 7th Avenue. This venue will be comprised of some vendor/education booths as well as a symposium area.

The Expo will have mini-educational opportunities for Continuing education hours for RNs and Licensed EMTs throughout the two days: these include hands on working with Zolls and Lifepak monitors, utilizing splinting devices and so on.


This event is focusing on highlighting and joining together each part of our Region. It is our hope that this is the first Expo of many to follow.
