They say 22 Veterans commit suicide daily, however that number is more like 35, these Veterans mostly are Vietnam era Vets that are homeless, suffering from PTSD or other severe medical issues, and they think that there is no hope. The truth is that whether it is todays Veterans who served in Desert Storm, OEF, OIF, or any other combat action or conflict, Just ONE suicide or forgotten Vet is Too Much. The even more staggering number is revealed when you add those Veterans who received less than honorable discharges and committed suicide or those who died as a result of high risk behavior such as extreme alcohol and drug consumption, those numbers are not calculated but would be extremely high if they were actually tracked. With a Staff and Board of Directors made up of Veterans and Veteran family members from multiple generations who have a unwavering determination of making a difference, 22 Warriors Foundation will seek out those individuals in need of help while partnering with organizations who can assist in this campaign. The is our goal not making money, our vision is to raise awareness and donations to combat this killer of our Veterans, regardless of their generation or circumstances they volunteered to defend our country and it is our duty as a Country to help these Veterans in need.
