2nd Thursday Blues page is to inform persons of blues events while inspiring harmony as we build music tourism in our community.
Chester,SC is a historic rural community that is rebounding from textile mill closures.
Music tourism is an avenue for our recovery. David Claytor Executive Director has been active in the blues for over 25 years. Dave is the founder of the world renown Dave's CC Club now named Bradfordville Blues Club in Tallahassee, Florida.

2nd Thursday Blues is a SC nonprofit that depends upon your sponsorships and donations. Very similarly to Dave's CC Club, 2nd Thursday Blues has established a world blues scene in rural Chester, SC that has the potential for helping make music tourism.
Our Chester community is in need of goodwill, and 2nd Thursday Blues needs your support in creating a vibrant music tourism industry in our community.
