425 Theatre Project

Temenos is a Greek word that roughly translates to "sacred space".The best interactive improv artists bring that temenos wherever they perform to create a safe, welcoming environment where the audience feels completely comfortable interacting with the actors.

The 425 Theatre Project was started by Michele Greenwood Bettinger to make work for these talented, collaborative artists who bring improv, comedy and interactive theatre to unexpected places and new audiences.

In addition to founder, Michele Greenwood Bettinger, the original members of the troupe are
Shawn Bettinger and Doug Mackey. These three performers met when performing interactive improvisation comedy at Walt Disney World, FL in the Streetmosphere show at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

In addition to interactive characters, 425 Theatre Project produces "Aunt Dottie's Sing-along Cabaret" which is a long-established interactive show that has been on King County's juried 4Culture Touring Arts roster since 2009 and features Michele Greenwood Bettinger and Aaron Buckner.
