With 3 kids, 2 dogs, after school sport/activities, play dates, and full time job outside the home things can get a little hectic. I have always tried to meal plan a week at a time but I find myself slipping at times due to those last minute schedule changes. We all try to provide the best possible choices when we get in these types of situations but if you are anything like me, the drive-thru is a mother’s best friend! But after these nights I felt guilty and knew that there had to be something simpler out there for us working moms.

In June of 2015, I hosted a freezer meal workshop in my home hosted by my friend Jennifer. I had 2 weeks of meals frozen in my freezer after a 2 hour workshop! I was amazed how easy it was. I fell in love with the idea of frozen, healthy meals from my freezer straight to the oven!

I contemplated joining the Velata team for many months. I decided in October of 2015 to take the leap and give it a shot. I am looking forward to bringing these meal prepping tools, spices, rubs, and yummy desserts to all my fellow moms to help us feed our families healthy meals during these busy times.
