Holiday for Heroes

The Holiday for Heroes Foundation (a registered 501c3) began 11 years ago as a neighborhood collecting care packages to send to our troops. We currently provide scholarships to high school seniors who have had their lives affected by their parents’ Military and First Responder service. The proceeds of our first class events go to fund these scholarships for these deserving students, who have sacrificed in their formative years by sharing their parents with our County and our Communities. We also provide grants for Military and First Responder families who have experienced unexpected hardships including medical expenses. Since its founding in 2005 we have provided over $100,000 in scholarships, grants and supplies. In 2016 the foundation awarded $17,500 in scholarships to children of these heroes and provided $2,500 in hardship grants to the Military, Police and Fire Communities.
