500 Festival

The mission of the 500 Festival is to produce life-enriching events and programs while celebrating the spirit and legacy of the Indianapolis 500 and fostering positive impact on the city of Indianapolis and state of Indiana. Each year, more than half a million people attend 500 Festival events, helping drive our $400 million+ impact since our 1957 founding. Global in scope, yet hometown in spirit, the 500 Festival's 50+ events and programs unit the community and elevate the spirit for the month of May.
