Fresh Water Life.
Fresh air, clean water, love life. whether catching fish,kayaking or canoeing the thing i enjoy most about being on the water is the fresh air. The clean water reflects my local area, The Adirondacks and the Champlain Valley-the 518. Lastly, the feeling i always have while fishing is i love life, including the wildlife. Fishing is the life and I've always envied those who are able to do it and be around it for a living. I have designed a sticker made of die-cut vinyl, much like the 'salt life' stickers that has a canoe, paddles and a mountain scene that is available for $8.50 ea. Fresh Water Life.
Go To Heaven-Fish Like Hell
Fishing to me even as a kid always felt like going to 'heaven'. Whether it be a fly in to Canada, soaking in the scenery at Union Falls, Chateaugay Lake or Lake Champlain or taking in the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico and cities like Destin, Panama City or Appalachicola. Go To Heaven. This slogan also represents the 12-14 hour days on the water. The fishing through rain storms and thunderstorms, the hooked fingers and lost tackle. And the payoff-my first musky on seemingly my 200th and last cast of the day. Falling into the frigid Black River in fall to land a large salmon. Catching a trophy pike with my dad after years of trying. Going 2 days without a fish to catch my personal best walleye 100 yards from the dock and the end of the trip. Or catching a 7+ ft bull shark on light tackle, wondering if it's even possible to get it to the boat, but never giving up until you do. Fish Like Hell. I have designed t-shirts with this slogan on them in four different styles with more to come. They are done in sublimation on 100% polyester shirts and are available for $20.00 ea. Creative Custom Lures
I have come up with a tweak on the spinner bait that I've never seen done before. In checking books old and new and researching the internet I've found no results that this idea has ever been done. It certainly can't be bought in stores but will only be available on my website freshwaterlife.com. I'm calling it the double jeopardy. Rather than have the typical spinning blade on the top half of the spinner bait I have added a hook behind the blade and use a grub or soft plastic on the hook to provide added action. The hook results in more hooked fish. Its like a poor man's umbrella rig but fishes and casts much easier. They are all hand made and no two are exactly the same. Top hooks are interchangeable to suit individual needs. Most importantly they catch fish. Bass, musky and pike proven. They are available for $9.00 ea. I also have double blade hand-made spinner baits for $8.00 and Triple bladed ones for $9.00 ea. Buzzbaits for $8.00 and even some double jeopardy buzzbaits for $9.00 ea. I will also have other creative custom lures and ideas available.
Light Switch Covers
I have been making light switch covers with various themes like hunting, fishing and various scenic images. They are perfect for man-caves, dens, hunting cabins, garages or really any household that would like added decoration to something that is normally an understated and overlooked part to most homes. They have to be seen to be appreciated. All are hand-made and are available for $5.00 ea.
They say if you love what you do it's like never working a day in your life. That is the goal i'm pursuing.
