7north is a place that serves people in the areas they need most.

The people of our city have a desperate and direct need. According to Feeding
Northeast Florida, one out of six people in our city don’t know where their next meal will come from, and one out of four children go to school hungry. In Gallup’s annual Well-Being Index Report, which surveyed residents of 189 metropolitan cities,
Jacksonville ranked 159th. Basic access to food, shelter and healthcare were ranked among the lowest categories for our city.

Behavioral health, often referred to as mental health, is a stigma that haunts many Americans and often impacts those most marginalized within our communities. We must change how we perceive people with mental illness and addiction disorders and how we envision our responsibilities for their care, housing and employment.

At 7north we seek to provide a place to serve people in the areas they need most. We’re offering access to clothing and household items, behavioral healthcare, as well as space for a food bank distribution center. 7north services bring meaning, purpose and love through caring assistance to each other and our community.
