811 Kitchen Bar Lounge

RED Restaurant Group announced today that its 811 Kitchen Bar Lounge location will close temporarily as part of a comprehensive rebrand. The restaurant at 811 Prospect Ave. E. will close for business starting the week of June 12, 2017, with reopening tentatively scheduled for fall 2017.
Opened to meet the demands of the summer 2016 season, including the Cleveland Cavaliers championship and Republican National Convention, 811 provided Cleveland-area residents and visitors with a globally influenced, modern-American kitchen and bar. With the upcoming redesign, RED Restaurant Group looks to deliver a new dining experience.

“At every RED location, we regularly evaluate how to best serve our guests, ranging from menu offerings to restaurant atmosphere and overall design,” said Jonathan Gross, RED Restaurant Group president and CFO. “A variety of factors, including our ownership of the building, will allow us to introduce a new concept specifically tailored to the Cleveland market and RED Restaurant Group vision.”

The 811 rebrand follows the recent grand opening of Red, the Steakhouse: Indianapolis; the currently under-development Red, the Steakhouse locations in Pittsburgh and Pinecrest (Orange Village, Ohio), and the continued success of RED Cleveland restaurants. A number of 811 Kitchen Bar Lounge employees will have the opportunity to transfer to other RED locations, and return when the redesign is complete.
