Hi, I'm Sarah! Thanks so much for checking out my third baby, 8:28 Photography :) I'm a self-taught, natural light photographer, and my passion is capturing real life moments and authentic expressions. You'll never hear me shout, "Say cheese!" or force you into uncomfortable poses. It's very important for me to keep my sessions relaxed and let smiles and connections happen organically. It's my goal that you feel like you're just walking around the park with one of your friends or hanging out at home with someone you've known for years. I want my sessions to be as enjoyable as possible, and I especially try my hardest to make it fun for the little ones. Parents are more than welcome to laugh at my silliness too!

I've always been the one behind the camera, but after my own children got old enough to run away from the point-and-shoot, I was desperate for a decent image that wasn't a complete blur. My in-laws gifted me my first dslr, and I was completely in love! I read books and blogs and watched youtube during every naptime, bathtime, and bedtime for months and most importantly I practiced and practiced and practiced every day. And I'm still teaching myself, still improving, because I want my clients to have the best- even on a budget.

I live in Auburn Hills, Michigan with my immensely supportive husband, Joe, and our two little boys, Jason and Bradley. My favorite hobby is photography, but I also enjoy cooking, the beach, shoes, church, coffee, and quiet time on Pinterest.
