926 Medical Detachment (PM)

Welcome to the 926th MED DET (PM) facebook page. This site is for the Soldiers, friends and family members of the 926.

The 926th Medical Detachment holds campaign participation credits in World War II
(Silver Band without inscription) & Vietnam (defense & counteroffensive). Additionally, the unit holds campaign credits for Southwest Asia during the Defense of Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and the Liberation & Defense of Kuwait, & for deploying to Kosovo in support of KFOR. The detachment completed two separate tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Most recently the detachment completed a tour to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The detachment has earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation five times with streamers for Vietnam twice, once for Southwest Asia & twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
