A Class Act Productions is a critically acclaimed producer of straight plays and the local originator of the popular live television and film parodies, regularly presented on "Third Saturdays." Recent shows have included Jaws, Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (now in its sixth season), The Twilight Zone, and Batman (now in its third season).

George Cron, founder and Executive Director, began teaching small groups and private acting classes at The Skinny Improv under the name of A Class Act in early 2006. Since that time, the name has also come to include a wide variety of George's artistic endeavors including directing projects, theatrical producing, song writing, film acting workshops, and recording.
