A Different Window

The term stained glass can refer to colored glass as a material or to works created from it. Throughout its thousand-year history, the term has been applied almost exclusively to the windows of churches and other significant buildings. Although traditionally made in flat panels and used as windows, the creations of modern stained glass artists also include three-dimensional structures and sculpture.


A Different Window uses its own take on the term stained glass window. We take vintage window and picture frames and mix them with stained glass. From abstract art to creative impression art our take is very unique and can be displayed in a wide array of places.


These stained glass windows and picture frames are handmade and virtually one of one, no two of my works will ever be the same. They come in three primary size ranges (small, medium, and large) The small start at 8.5 x 11" tall and get no larger than 13 3/8 x 16 3/8. The medium start at 17 Tall x 14 and get no larger than 28 1/4 by 19 1/4. Everything above those size ranges would be considered large. Hardware is include to hang with your purchase.
