A Path to Change

Thank you for visiting A Path to Change, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional in the State of Florida, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I do not prescribe medication. I have obtained my therapy experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My previous experience includes working with our Veterans in a residential program as well as working with teenagers in a residential setting focusing on mental health, substance abuse and human trafficking. Working in an outpatient setting allows me the opportunity to support children, teenagers, adults, couples and families on their path to gaining insight to improve their level of functioning as an individual and family.

My therapeutic approach is to provide support, understanding, and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

I have additional training in domestic and interpartner violence, suicide risk assessment, behavior assessment and modification, Human Trafficking and Labor Exploitation, and Adolescent Trauma and Substance Abuse Training.
