A Peaceful Place

Purpose: A Peaceful Place Ministry is a ministry of helping hands and feet with the purpose of helping to bless others by transforming a house into a home. We enjoy working closely with people to lift the burdens of certain tasks around the home that can become overwhelming when trying to face them alone. Although each situation will be unique, we focus mostly on helping people to reorganize their homes, room makeovers, small home improvement transformations, and creating a home from scratch, thus allowing these burdens to lift and replacing them with a peaceful dwelling place.

Values: Time and again we are impacted not only by the great needs of people in our area, but also by the amazing opportunity God has given us to do something about it. If not us (the church) then who?

Our goal is clear: To show people that we truly care about them as people and that they are not forgotten. We believe by doing this, they will want to know what’s different about us and what’s compelling us to do this for them. And that’s when we get to introduce them to our Savior—Jesus Christ.

Vision (Why): The real issue of poverty is not the lack of things, it is the lack of hope. Food and shelter are essential, but a home is a source of comfort and self-esteem. Helping people find this hope through the hands and feet of Jesus is our main vision.
