A Slice of Heaven - Beech Mountain Log Cabin

This recently built cabin is great for a weekend with friends or a nice long family getaway. When you enter the cabin and approach the kitchen, you will find granite counter tops, tongue-in-groove wood walls and A-frame ceilings, hardwood floors, all appliances including a washer and dryer and a sleeping loft with queen bed that overlooks the living area. You will notice a stone fireplace with gas logs, large flat screen TV, and stereo, Wi-Fi, a comfortable couch, armchair and nice leather stools in the living area. The couch pulls out into a single sleeper sofa. Natural light permeates the cabin through massive windows hung in the top front of the A-frame.

The bedrooms are both equipped with queen beds and broad windows to watch nature or enjoy the cool breeze. The Master Bedroom is like a cabin within a cabin. The ceiling is tongue-in-groove wood and A-framed. The Master Bedroom has its own private bathroom and a flat screen TV with DVD player. Both bathrooms are comprised of a shower, bathtub and sink below overhead lights. The cabin is equipped with a tankless water heater so take a nice long shower with no fear of running out of hot water.

A beautifully built A-frame roof, with tongue-in-groove wood, shelters the front deck with log style chairs. The large private back deck looks out over a natural area and offers views of the ski slopes and surrounding area. A wrought iron patio dining set provides the perfect spot to enjoy a home cooked meal or each morning's cup of coffee. The back yard has a fire pit for those evening gatherings toasting marshmallows or making s ‘mores. Deer stroll through the yard daily with little fear of guests.

There are several restaurants, bars, stores and markets within walking distance. Fred's General Mercantile is approximately .5 miles away. It is a short drive to Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Boone and Blowing Rock are a little further but an easy drive for the afternoon or day.
