A Taste of New York is a family-owned New York pizzeria located in Vista, California, with a commitment to quality and a passion for taste.

Owner, JD Shepard, was raised with the tradition of hand-crafted New York pizza. Now, he brings that tradition to Southern California with a devotion to creating an authentic blend of flavors his customers will never forget.

We also cut fresh produce to make our sauces from scratch, hand-make our dough each morning, season breadcrumbs, marinade vegetables, and sauté mushrooms before pizzas go straight from a wood peel into our stone oven.

Here at A Taste of New York, nothing is pre-made and quality is never compromised. While the guys at other places might wonder why we put so much work into each pizza, our customers find the answer in the taste and flavor of every slice.
