A Villa called Eureka

A Villa Called Eureka is ideal for a large group of family or friends who want to get away from it all in Kissimmee, Orlando. The spacious accommodation comprises a private heated* pool with SPA, two lovely master suites (one at entry level and one upstairs) each with King beds and en-suite bathrooms (including a large bath in the entry level en-suite). Upstairs we have 2 smart queen bedrooms, 2 full beds (in the same room), and 2 twins (in the same room). A total of 6 bedrooms, sleeping 14 people, and also a total of 4 showers, 2 baths/tubs and 5 toilets!

Once you have entered the manned gates to Windsor at Westside and wound around the lake at the heart of the community, you pull up to A Villa called Eureka to discover plenty of parking on the double drive and spaces opposite if required. Facing towards the lake you can see the Clubhouse from Eureka’s front door, just a short walk around the lake away.

As you cross over Eureka’s threshold you are struck by the light, open, double height entrance. The hallway leads to a smart, well equipped kitchen with a dining table on the right hand side which leads further to the comfy open living area. We set this up so whether you are sitting on the sofa having a coffee in the morning or at the dining table eating breakfast, friends and family can mingle and chat in one fluid area. The best thing about renting a house is the freezer! You can buy all kinds of ice cream flavours that you can’t get in the UK, like Haagen-Dazs Pineapple coconut flavour – our favourite!

The living room has a large comfy sofa facing the far wall with a big 55” LED TV and upstairs we have created a lovely spacious area where we envisage everyone getting together to watch a movie on the 60” 4K TV or playing against each other (or together) on the PS4.

Step into what was the garage and be transported to Star Wars Mos Eisley’s Cantina at Tatooine, a little den of delight, to relax, chill, play some pool or air hockey and your favorite old games on the arcade machine.

All the rooms have lovely finishing touches that makes it feel like a home rather than a rental property. The large patio area is great for sitting and eating al fresco, sipping cool drinks in the summer and getting splashed by the kids in the pool (and that’s just the adults)!

The resort brings a unique and tantalizing experience which is difficult to capture with words, and even photos, but hopefully you get a feel of it. Sorry no pets allowed but you will appreciate the space and varied places to hang out and enjoy your holiday with friends and family, having enough living space to chill out together or (if you need a bit of space) finding yourself nipping into the Cantina or corner of the spa for some time out.

So, imagine coming home at the end of an exciting day at the parks or a successful day playing golf... Plonk your bags down, kick your shoes off and grab a refreshing drink from the fridge. Dip and dangle your feet into the soothing pool or spa and reminisce about all the marvelous things you discovered. Eureka - You’ve done it! You found the perfect vacation home, had the perfect day and now you’re perfectly relaxed.

A bit about Windsor at Westside Resort: one of the newest resort communities in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. This stunning resort community features a Mediterranean themed tropical clubhouse as the centerpiece and includes a large resort-style pool complete with a splash aqua-park. The Tiki Bar will serve both your favorite drinks along with a tempting menu for poolside dining.

There is a state of the art fitness center, with all of the latest in cardio and strength building equipment, with volleyball courts, multi-purpose sports courts and a children’s play area enhancing the amenity offerings at Windsor at Westside. For Disney enthusiasts, the location is ideal as you gain easy access to the magical Disney parks via the 192 (it’s so close you can see the Disney fireworks display each night from the upstairs owners suite).
