Equine service in the Abingdon-area providing consulting, lessons, training, colt starting, educational demos, & more.
We work with equines of all kinds, shapes and sizes, especially mules & donkeys.
________
Our teaching style:
We have the knowledge and skills to work with all disciplines and riding styles, although we personally specialize in Vaquero-style stockmanship and progressing of the bridle horse.
Our teaching encompasses Classical riding instruction, traditional stockmanship, and philosophies and sciences to help us understand how the horse naturally behaves.
We want to help our customers have the best relationship with their animal as possible--for it to be a genuine team sport, not a dictatorship. We'll help you offer the best of yourself to your animal, so they'll be able to offer their best to you!
________
Our Instructor:
Audrey has lifelong equine handling & riding experience; she has competed in many different disciplines over the years, including 4-H & Pony Club events. She has experience in the show ring, as well as trail riding, packing & camping in the wilderness.
She is continually gaining more experience and knowledge through mentors, instructional materials such as books, DVDs & magazines, learning from her own horses & mules, and also participating in clinics several times a year.
