Hi there! We're Alex and Brianna and this is our ABC story.

We started babysitting together about four years ago when we were juniors in high school. The original family we babysat for has 3 boys. Over the past four years this family has become like our own.

After High School, many of our former teachers asked if we would babysit for their kids. We were a team!

Almost two years later we have multiple families who we sit for. A lot of Oceanside teachers but we also started expanding to new families by word of mouth. That's when we came up with the idea of "Alex and Brianna Care".

We babysit together but also apart. We are both busy with school and work but love to babysit together when we are both available. We have so much fun together and our kids get a kick out of us. When one of us isn't available the other will babysit that day/night. Our friends are also great. Alyssa and Nicole help us when we are both not available. When we babysit together, we don't take separate pays, we split whatever hourly rate has been worked out with that family. We split the money between the two of us, two for one kind of deal. We don't babysit for the money, we have a lot of other jobs. We mainly do it because we love the kids and we truly enjoy spending time with them.

Right now a majority of our families are in Oceanside. However, we also babysit for families in Wantaugh, Rockville Centre, Garden City, Harbor Isle, and Long Beach. We prefer to stay in the area with a few exceptions.

Although we would love to help as many families as possible, our objective is to make sure the children we are looking after have our undivided attention. Therefore, we will need to limit our families if our schedule for the time becomes too overwhelming.

We sit for families who are recommended to us by friends or current families we babysit for or have in the past. We usually like to have some prior knowledge of the family's we babysit for so its not all business and becomes more genuine. We look at the families we babysit for as important and we want to make sure the kids we sit for are comfortable with us as well.
