Dr. Juarez is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Having completed medical school in 1978 and residency in 1984 Dr. Juarez has an extensive history of performing complex medical procedures. He has paved the way for bariatric surgery in the valley as one of the first surgeons to perform bariatric surgery. He offers the most up-to-date education and advancements in procedures but by remaining independent he is able to offer patients an individual boutique medical experience.
Dr. Juarez is best known for his compassion and care towards each patient; he is not the kind of person to say “that can’t be done”. Many patients have heard this and in turn reached out to Dr. Juarez for a solution, he has accepted some of the most difficult of cases.
We are proud to offer a pre-operative education program and follow up plan to ensure the success of each patient to the best of their abilities. Dr. Juarez demonstrates this willingness to take the extra step by providing a comfortable atmosphere and offering surgery at state of the art facilities in North Scottsdale and Central Phoenix.
His staff will assist you through the insurance requirements and offer cash pricing or financing. Each patient receives a "My Journey binder". The binder serves as a guide mapping the steps from initial consultation to post surgical lifestyle changes including tips to stay committed, recipes, education, reading materials, stretching poses, exercises to increase muscle mass and burn fat, meditation techniques, and a log of follow-up visits so patients can track their success.
