About-Face

All members are required to follow the Katy ISD Student Code of Conduct. During any
in school or out of school event, the rules of the school will be enforced and students
will be expected to adhere strictly to these established rules.
In addition, there are some rules specific to about-face*.
Members must think as a team, we encourage teamwork even though it’s difficult in this highly competitive atmosphere. We are not here to undermine one another.
Each member is required to sign and read through a set of documents provided by the animal shelter, Special Pals, as these documents contain safety waivers, disclaimers, special information, and rules for volunteering at the animal shelter.This form is to be read/signed with a parent or legal guardian.
Club members are required to attend the Special Pals orientation in order to become an eligible participant in the projects taking place on the shelter grounds.
All rules contained in the Special Pals packet are to be followed. If not, loss of the privilege to volunteer at the facility as well as expulsion from about-face* will occur.
