Abrams & Weakley - General Store for Animals

Nestled in a residential neighborhood in Susquehanna Township, right off the 81 exit for north Front street, there is a small oasis for pet owners. We offer a wonderful selection of products, a private dog yard, grooming shop and dog training room.

Upon entering our store, you are warmly greeted and offered assistance. We are approachable and friendly, because our goal is improving your pet's health and building relationships, not our bottom line. Our staff has a combined 35 years of pet retail experience and you will see the same friendly faces each time you visit. We are your neighbors living, volunteering and working in your community. When you support small business, you support your community as well. Isn't that how it should be?

At A&W, we put great thought and effort into researching and choosing products that suit the healthcare needs of a large and diverse community of pet parents. We strive to offer the healthiest products available, while keeping cost in mind. We understand that not all pet owners can afford to purchase our highest priced items, so we choose what we feel are the most nutritious products in each price category.

Though we carry products from all over, we never sell foods, treats or supplements made or sourced in China. Our foods are free from wheat, corn, soy, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives and by-products.

If we don't have something available in our store, we can likely get it for you. Special orders have no additional cost to you. We will even deliver! (Call about our delivery service.)

Our grooming shop is quiet, clean and calm. Greta, our groomer, is patient and gentle with each animal. She is very skilled at working with animals that may experience stress during grooming visits. Greta carefully evaluates each pet and will review with you how you would like your pet to look.
