In 2002, ABRI opened Homes for the Brave (HFTB), a 42 bed transitional living facility. The program is available to male Veterans and non-veterans who are homeless with a special focus on those who struggle with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. Female Soldiers: Forgotten Heroes provides the same services for up to 15 homeless women, primarily Veterans.
