AB's 4 On the Floor Boarding & Grooming

I would like to tell the story of how I came to become the first dog groomer in Oakland. I eventually added a kennel. I had been working as a CNA for 20 years at the Oakland Heights nursing home. One day during a meeting we all were asked to say what we would like to be doing if we weren't working in the nursing home. I always had a passion for animals and I said I would love to be grooming dogs. As it turned out one of the ladies in our class knew an instructor in Sioux City who had one opening left in her next grooming class and the rest is history!!

That was 20+ years ago. I have loved grooming and boarding everyday since finishing that class. I have heard it said that if you find something you love, you'll never work a day in your life. I have found this to be true. In addition, I would not have had this much success without the loving support of my family.
