Our home is situated on 9+ acres and boasts a lovely view of the lake and Mount Baker. We are out in the country yet only 10 minutes east of the I-5 freeway. You will enjoy the large 4600 sq. ft., rustic, yet cozy and enjoyable home with awesome views both during the day and at night. There are private baths and fireplaces in two of the four private rooms along with four family gathering areas, a book loft for your reading enjoyment, a full working kitchen, a breakfast nook with view, a dining room, two decks to enjoy morning coffee or a barbeque on the gas grill, and a nice little spa for two at a time to enjoy the views.

Enjoy family time, games, movies, or books. On a walk you might see deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and birds galore to include the Bald Eagles that can be seen in the large and beautiful cedar trees on the property. There is also a nice creek that winds down through the property.

Golf, bike, fish, hike or take a ride in the North Cascade Mountains for a day. Bring your boat and board, tube, ski or fish on the lake. Visit Mount Vernon, LaConner, or Anacortes and go antiquing or just relax and enjoy your time. You can even arrange a catered dinner or picnic right at the home. The property makes an ideal country setting for an event venue.

There are two convenience stores within one to three miles, an ORV park within five miles, two golf courses within two to four miles, two bar and grills within three to four miles, and the boat launch is only one mile down the road.
Additionally, Big Lake hosts one of the best July 4th fireworks displays on the 3rd of July.

Golf at any one of at least six Skagit County golf courses, visit any one of three local casinos or shop at the Outlet shopping centers. Close by in Anacortes, there is the Arts and Crafts Festival in August, Burlington Berry Dairy Days in June, & the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April. Seattle is only an hour and ten minutes to the South, Vancouver BC is only an hour and thirty-eight minutes to the North, the San Juan ferries and Mount Baker are only an hour and a half away.
