Since 1949 Acton Ace Hardware has been your neighborhood hardware store. Long before the “big box” home improvement stores littered the landscape, we have been providing our customers with knowledgeable, professional, and personal service. From plumbing, to landscaping, to painting, and everything in between, we have been here for over 60 years helping the do it your selfers in the Acton. In 2005 we opened our second, state of the art store on route 40 in Westford providing the same expert service developed in Acton.
Over the years Acton Ace Hardware has gone thru many updates and transformations, all in an effort to make your shopping experience more satisfying. When you come into one of our two locations, you will soon realize Acton, and Westford Ace Hardware, are not your grandfathers hardware stores. We pride ourselves in providing clean, well organized, fully stocked, and expertly staffed stores, in an effort to make your hardware experience, second to none.
Our stores all the major brands that the big “box stores” carry at very competitive prices. The common misconception that your local hardware store cannot compete with the larger mass retailers could not be more far from the truth. With the buying power of thousands of Ace stores nationwide, the prices at your local hardware store are competitive, while providing the service you just can’t get at the larger stores. We also provide other services such as window and screen repair, small engine repair, lamp repair, and lock rekeying.

Our expanded and complete house wares departments include such names as OXO Goodgrips, Cuisinart, MU Kitchen, Interdesign, Zyliss, and J.A. Henkels, just to name a few. Our most exciting addition for 2012 is a complete line of Craftsman hand, and power tools, American made and available right here at Acton, and Westford Ace Hardwares.
