Actors Co-op Theatre Company

On January 8th, 1987 a dozen actors with a common love of theatre pioneered Actors Co-op. Since the Crossley Theatre opened its doors in April of 1989 and its second theatre, the David Schall Theatre (formerly the Crossley Terrace Theatre) opened February of 1995, Actors Co-op has produced over 100 main stage productions, over 40 Second Stage productions, staged readings of original works, and has received 125 Drama-Logue Awards, 34 LA Weekly Award nominations (seven wins), 29 Theatre LA Ovation Award nominations (three wins), five Garland Awards, 19 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards (six wins) and numerous Scenie Awards (StageSceneLA.com), Sage Awards (ArtsInLA.com) and StageRaw Awards.

Actors Co-op is a company of Christian actors driven by passion for the Lord Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to pursuing the highest standards of theatrical excellence and to building up our members spiritually, personally and professionally in order to be an outreach of Christ’s hope.
