Adam Puchta Winery

Investigate one of the treasures of Missouri wine country at Adam Puchta Winery – located approximately one hour from St. Louis, on the west end of the Hermann Wine Trail. We are the oldest continuously owned family winery in the country, founded in 1855 by Adam Puchta. Located along the banks of Frene Creek, just two miles southwest of historical Hermann, Missouri, today a visit to the winery, you will discover the Puchta legacy while sampling a variety of wines.

Come experience our Hermann winery – taste award-winning wines, browse historical buildings and cellar or join us for one of the many events held throughout the year. Open seven days a week, offering daily wine tastings. Sorry we are closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

You are welcome to pack a picnic and stay a while. We have plenty of shaded picnic tables and limited covered seating. Enjoy a glass or two of wine while enjoying the peaceful country setting.
