Adaptive Sports USA Junior Nationals 2016

Adaptive Sports USA is very pleased to announce that the annual Junior National Games is coming to the Greater Madison Area in 2016. The largest and longest running event for student-athletes with physical disabilities in North America will be held on the campus of Middleton High School from July 16th to 23rd. A projected 300 athletes with physical disabilities between the ages of 6 and 22 will descend on the Madison area to compete in events such as Track & Field, Swimming, Archery, Table Tennis, Powerlifting, Air Guns and, for the very first time, a Paratriathlon competition. It goes without saying that an event of this scope and magnitude will require the resources and benevolence of the host community to make it a reality for some very deserving and underserved young people. It is the hope and desire of Adaptive Sports USA to leave a footprint within the state of Wisconsin by building a network of officials, coaches and stakeholders who are knowledgeable and capable of providing equal and inclusive opportunities. For a population of children who have routinely been shut out of competitive sports opportunities provided to non-disabled children in the past, we trust you will find our kids very worthy of your support!
