Our Values

Some things are without compromise and continually keep us focused on the right path to help us love God and love one another. The following are the values that we hold as our guiding principles:

•Love - We value love. The Great Commandments from Jesus teach us to love God above everything else and love people. (Mark 12:30, 31, John 15:12)
•Prayer and Fasting –We value prayer, intercession, and fasting as a means to draw closer to the heart of God through submission of our own personal desires for those of Christ Jesus. (I Timothy 2:1-2)
•Worship – We value passionate worship that ushers us into the presence of God and cultivates personal intimacy with the Lord. (Psalm 95:6-7)
•Holy living - We value holiness as God's standard of living that renders worship and respect to our God who is holy and that demonstrates to the world that we have been changed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:4)
•The Word of God - We value the Word of God, the holy Bible, as God's inspired instructions in how to live right and victoriously. It is relevant for daily living in all areas of our lives. It is to be taught and lived without compromise. (Psalm 119)
•Giving –We value obedience to God through faithful giving of our time, talents, and treasures to God. (Deuteronomy 26:10; Matthew 6:33)
•Evangelism – We value spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community, nation, and the world for the purpose of salvation for non-believers. (Mark 16:15-18) •Outreach – We value loving, caring for, and supporting others through outreach initiatives to our community and the world. (Matthew 25:34–40)
•Discipleship – We value helping people grow in their knowledge of and relationship with God through the study of His Word. (Matthew 28: 19-20, Ephesians 4:12–13)
•Equipping people to serve – We value equipping people to serve as a member of the Body of Christ in order to help others, both inside and outside our church, through the use of our God-given talents, gifts, and abilities. (1 Cor. 12:13-31)
•Family and Relationships – We value the strengthening and development of relationships for families and those within and outside our church fellowship. (I John 4:11)
•Inclusiveness – We value inclusiveness and strive to love, honor, and respect all those who are from various cultural, social, and economic walks of life. (I Corinthians 12:13)
•Excellence – We value the pursuit of excellence in all that we do including loving, serving, and ministering to others. (I Corinthians 10:31)

What should I expect?

•Expect someone to greet you at the door with a smile, a hand shake and a friendly attitude.
•Expect someone to assist you with directions for childcare, restrooms, sanctuary, etc.
•Expect relevant and inspiring Bible based teaching and preaching that will minister to you at your point of need.
•Expect ministry to everyone in your family from the youngest to the oldest. We have nursery, Sunday school classes for every age, and children's church. Children ages 4 to 12 go straight to the fellowship area for Power House Kidz Ministry on Sunday mornings. Nursery is also provided from birth to age 3 in the church nursery located nearby the fellowship area. An adult must sign and sign out each child for security.
•Expect lively worship in song where people raise their hands and clap their hands.
•Expect a blended style of music ranging from hymns to the most recent contemporary songs.
•Expect the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in worship as identified in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will operate in a decent order that brings glory to God and strengthens others as the Spirit enables believers.
