Advanced Helicopter Concepts

Advanced Helicopter Concepts Inc. began providing flight training at Frederick Municipal airport in 1987. Our staff is comprised of four helicopter flight instructors and three airplane flight instructors.

AHC’s fleet consist of five Robinson R22 helicopters as well as a Robinson R44 helicopter. Our Airplane fleet consist of a Cessna 152 and a Cessna 172.

Our fleet of aircraft provide several services such as, aerial photography, air tours, and flight instruction. Our highly trained flight instructors are able to provide flight instruction from the Private certificate up to and including Instrument, Commercial, Certified Flight instructor, instrument flight instructor, and sling load training.

Our maintenance is performed in house by dedicated, factory trained mechanics. Our maintenance staff include both an Inspector Authorized mechanic as well as an airframe and powerplant mechanic. They enable us to ensure our aircraft are maintained with the highest safety standard.
