At Advanced Pediatric Cardiology (AP Cardio) we are committed to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art and high quality cardiac care with compassion to all patients with congenital and acquired heart disease from the fetus to young adulthood.

Our experienced staff members are totally devoted to caring for your child in a friendly environment to make your experience as easy and pleasant as possible.

o We serve all patients from birth to 21 years. In addition to fetuses and young adults with congenital heart disease.

o Our staff is fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish.

o We accept most insurance and AHCCCS plans.

Meet Dr. Alhadheri:

I am a pediatric cardiologist serving patients in the Metro Phoenix Valley since 2006. I completed my training in 2003 from State University of New York (SUNY), Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York, where I did my training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. I am a father of four children, one of which attends Arizona State University, and two of which are Arizona State University Alumni. I am currently accepting patients.

We provide a variety of professional & comprehensive services including:

o Pre-operative cardiac assessment for cardiac and non-cardiac surgeries/procedures

o Postoperative cardiac care

o Evaluation of heart murmurs, chest pain and syncope/fainting

o Management of heart failure

o Diagnosis and management of:
- Congenital heart defects
- Acquired heart disease (e.g. Kawasaki disease and rheumatic fever)
- Genetically related heart diseases and syndromes (e.g. Marfan syndrome, Turner syndrome, Down syndrome)

o Cardiac clearance for ADHD and other stimulants

o Sports pre-participation cardiac screening for athletes

o Management of heart rhythm disturbances:
- Evaluation of Palpitations (skipped heart beats, fast and slow heart beats)
- Pacemaker follow-up, monitoring and programming

o Preventive cardiology:
- Management of High Cholesterol (hyperlipidemia)
- Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Cardiac evaluation and prevention counseling for healthy lifestyle

o Management of Dysautonomia Disorder (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome "POTS")

o Fetal echocardiogram and prenatal cardiac consultation

o Adult congenital clinic

o Collaboration with other groups and hospitals to provide more needed services:
- Cardiac catheterization: diagnostic and intervention
- Electrophysiologic services for rhythm disturbances (ablation and pacemakers/defibrillators “ICD”)
