Adventures Unlimited Preschool & Kindergarten

INFANTS/TODDLERS
Our infant/toddler program has been in effect since 2003 and has grown to one of THE FINEST IN THE VALLEY. We accept ONLY 4 INFANTS AT ONE TIME to give them the INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION that is needed at this early age. We accept up to 8 toddlers at one time with two staff attending to all of their needs for their young development. Throughout the day we have STORY TIME and MUSIC which initiates DANCING, which is a delightful happy experience to boot. The beginning of art projects are offered throughout the week to the delight of the children and their families. We are located on .83 of an acre in the South Salem hills, so the little ones do not have to share time with the small amount of outdoor exposure one has living in Oregon.

PRESCHOOL
Our Monday thru Friday 9am to 12 noon program is for the child 2 YEARS THRU 4 YEARS of age. You may choose a couple of mornings a week to a full 5 day schedule. We encourage INQUISITIVENESS and THIRST for knowledge about their world. Our MONTHLY CURRICULUM includes art, math, language and the big hit, science, which includes learning magic tricks. Cooking is a wonderful time to incorporate beginning math skills, measuring, small motor skills using utensils and the biggest job of all, tasting what the child has created. For a small fee we have gymnastics on Tuesday AMs throughout the school year at the SALEM GYMNASTIC CENTER. This is a fantastic program for large motor skills not to mention an enjoyable morning for everyone.

PRIVATE KINDERGARTEN
Mrs. Wilken has been our PRIVATE AM KINDERGARTEN TEACHER SINCE 1976. She is well versed in teaching and communicating with the 5 year old student. We accept no more than 10 kindergarteners per school year to assure families that their child gets the personal attention that a student of this age requires prior to entering their full education experience. Our MONTHLY CURRICULUM incorporates language, art, math, science and a twice daily group time to discuss the day's work. The students are encouraged to explore their environment through OPEN ENDED ACTIVITIES. Our COOKING experiences are always a big hit. After our lunch we bus the students to public PM kindergarten to continue the fullest exposure of their new found world.

SUMMER CAMP
Our staff is continuously UPGRADING AND DESIGNING NEW AND EXCITING ACTIVITIES for the ADVENTUROUS CHILD. We have 3 sets of SWIM LESSONS throughout the summer at the YMCA. DAILY FIELD TRIPS are for the 5 year olds +. They are designed to be age appropriate for the two teams that are divided by age and ability. The younger ones are learning self control in public so we adopt trips that require minimal directions to allow them to start the beginnings of safety and composure in public. Our WEEKLY THEMES allow the kids to enjoy our community with many no charge or very minimal charge for field trips. Bowling is one of the trips that everyone enjoys at a basic cost. A weekly calendar is for parents to pick up the prior week to be aware of our upcoming events. Families may choose one or several weeks for the children to have a phenomenal summer experience.
