Aikido for Kids Philosophy
Our philosophy is that a martial arts education should address children's emotional, physical and creative development. Not just their intellect. Through the movements of the Aikido techniques, children will learn the art by working with other kids and instructors in a non-aggressive and safe manner.

The first two rules of this dojo (martial art studio) are:
1) No competition. Aikido is not a sport. There is no competition between students. No winner nor looser. All students go at their own pace. By taking away all competition, students gain a bigger competitor... them selves.

2) Love your practice. When we love our practice, no matter what we do in life, we will excel because we enjoy the time we are investing in what we are doing.
