Air Force ROTC Detachment 005

Detachment 005 is a unit of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) which operates out of Auburn University. As an AFROTC unit, our mission charge is to develop quality leaders for the Air Force; more specifically, to produce the best Air Force Officers who go on to serve in our Nation's military.

As an AFROTC cadet, your life looks fairly similar to a typical college student on the outside. However, behind the facade of civilian wear, our cadets develop over the span of their undergraduate degrees into an elite group of extremely professional Air Force Officers of high character and sound judgement.
