The Albright Sustainable Garden is a campus garden nestled at the bottom of Mount Penn in Reading, PA. One half serves as first come first serve free community plots and the other half is student run food production.
We sell produce at a weekly stand on campus and donate leftover produce to local shelters and other programs.
We only use heirloom seeds and do our best to uphold completely organic practices (we never use chemical pesticides, herbicides, or insecticides).
There are usually 2-4 student interns led by Dr. Jennings that maintain the garden, sell the produce, and complete a variety of projects during the summer.
