Algonac State Park

Algonac State Park is a 1450acre state park in St. Clair County, Michigan. The park has approximately a half mile (800 m) of St. Clair River frontage, making viewing of international freighters a major attraction.EcologyApproximately 83% of the park's area is undeveloped. This undeveloped portion of the park encompasses significant lakeplain prairie and oak openings (savannas), which have been described as unique natural environments in Michigan.
