All About the Hair

Being a hairdresser in my opinion is much more that only doing hair, is educating a client/friend that the hair is like a plant that needs to be treated with care. That needs to be nourished every day so you can have a shine, brilliant healthy hair.
Being a hairdresser is explaining to your client/friend - yes, for me a client is not only a client, i consider them a friend as well, because for sure we end up knowing a lot more of each other than just hair stuff - explain to your client that whatever they want can or can't be done in a healthy way unless they follow your instructions.
I had the chance to know someone who once told me that a hairdresser is just like a doctor, that knows stuff that the patient doesn't know and you are the one who needs to have enough knowledge to explain to this patient what is that needs to be done.
That being said, the purpose of this page is not only to give tips for anyone who might need but also to get tips from other professionals.
I am not a selfish person and i like to share what i learn and i hope that whoever comes across this page thinks and feels the same way.
