All Bethel Community Day

The Ninth Annual All Bethel Community Day (ABC Day) is an annual event scheduled for Saturday, October 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Graham-Kapowsin High School.

At ABC Day there will be over 175 booths with lots to see and do. There will be health and social service booths, vendor booths, entertainment, and lots of fun activities for all ages. The Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Central Pierce County and Graham Fire and Rescue will be present with display vehicles and personnel. You don’t want to miss seeing Blitz, the Seahawk mascot, well as numerous Dog Exhibits and Demonstrations. Most events and activities are FREE.

Some local businesses that will be represented are Boeing, Umpqua Bank, Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Point Defiance Pirates, Marvel Comics, Ikea, See’s Candies, Central Pierce County and Graham Fire & Rescue, LeMay Enterprises, Country Wagon, Community Health Care, Rainier Therapeutic Riding, and Multicare WIC.

This year’s event is promising to be bigger and better! Exciting highlights to this fun-filled day will be the Green Lantern spreading an anti-bullying message, a large petting zoo, Interactive Centers for Learning and Fun with hands on activities for kids of all ages to learn (science projects), build (various things), play (carnival games, aerospace, Zumba for kids) and a Take Home Project Center. There is a Community Information Center for our military service families from Joint Base Lewis-McCord and other families new to our community. There will also be a Raffle Showcase with all items donated by local businesses.

Overflow parking is available at Nelson Elementary and Frontier Middle School where wagon rides are provided by Country Wagon to and from Graham-Kapowsin High School.

ABC Day is co-sponsored by the Bethel Area Council of PTAs, Bethel Community Services, and Boeing. Most events and activities are FREE and open to the community.
