Personal Care-
Bathing, personal hygiene, nail care, hairdressing, picking out coordinated outfits, help with getting dressed or applying makeup. Our caregivers take pride in keeping the best interest of the client at heart.

Home Making-
This covers all the basics of looking after a home, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, garbage disposal, bill pay, watering indoor plants, changing light bulbs, and everything else that may have at one time been addressed by the client. Caregivers do not provide outdoor cleaning or maintenance.

Laundry-
These home care services can be done in either the clients’s home or the laundromat and include washing, drying, ironing and putting things away. Caregivers involve clients to make sure laundry is done according to their preferences.

Grocery Shopping/Errands-
Caregivers shop for groceries at stores of their clients’ preference and run errands, such as picking up prescriptions or going to the post office.

Meal Preparation-
Caregivers prepare hot, delicious, and nutritious meals, allowing clients to help with preparation according to their ability. Many seniors do not have the opportunity to eat a well-balanced meal, so this service helps seniors get the nutrition they need to enjoy healthier living.

Mobility Assistance, Transferring and Positioning-
AllCare homecare assists clients as needed with mobility to help them maintain as active a lifestyle as possible. Being able to get out and about offers both physical and mental health benefits. Proper positioning from or onto beds and chairs eliminates pressure areas on the skin, reduces weakening and stiffening of muscles, and encourages proper breathing, digestion and elimination.

Medication Reminders-
Our caregivers can assist with opening medication containers, reading labels, and reminding client of scheduled medications. Caregivers are not allowed to dispense any form of medication to the client.

Medication Set-Up
At AllCare Homecare we are committed to safety and quality of care. Our Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse will set up scheduled medication month to month according to the physician’s orders. This is only done by our nurses, not the caregivers.

24 Hour Live-In Care-
Live-in care is provided to individuals who require around the clock service. The caregiver provides all levels of personal, social and domestic care appropriate to the individual client.

Post Surgical Care-
Our skilled caregivers help clients recover faster and more comfortably in their own homes. A thorough and individualized pre- and post-operative evaluation is an important feature of our service.

Toileting and Incontinence Care-
Caregivers compassionately and sensitively care for seniors and other adults, helping them maintain dignity and self-esteem as they receive help with the activities of daily living. Through this caring approach AllCare Homecare helps to lessen client’s embarrassment associated with the loss of independence related to incontinence and need for toileting assistance.

Respite-
We are committed to providing relief to family caregivers for a few hours a day, or around-the-clock. Our caregivers are trained to attend to the needs of your loved one(s), while you fulfill other responsibilities and obligations.

Target Case Management and Counseling Support-
This program allows our LPNs to assist our clients with ordering supplies, coordinating care with other facilities, assisting with unfamiliar paperwork, coordinating transportation to and from physicians visits, and finding resources within our community that will aid the client in their day to day activities.

RN Services-
Specialized Care Management Services for Geriatric, Oncology, Palliative Care and Post-Surgical client. Our care managers provide comprehensive, advocacy-driven oversight of all aspects of care for clients, including placement services, arranging and managing delivery of all in-home private duty and skilled services, crisis intervention, and support for long-distance family members. RN care managers have training and experience that enables them to identify and rapidly seek treatment for subtle changes in medical status or drug interactions that could otherwise escalate into crisis situations. We believe in the value our nurses bring to our care services through their significant positive impact on the quality of life of our clients and their families.
