Allegheny station is a rapid transit stop on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line, located in the Kensington neighborhood of North Philadelphia. It is situated above the intersection of Kensington and Allegheny Avenues, colloquially known as "K&A".As with the nearby Somerset and then Huntingdon stations, Allegheny is located over a five-way intersection. Access to the station from street-level can be found at the southwest and northeast corners of Kensington and Allegheny Avenues.
