Think back if you can, long ago to November 4, 2009. Those dang Yankees won the World Series, and the brand new Allen Event Center opened its doors to the public for the first time. Since breaking ground July 23, 2008 and opening on that historic day, Allen Event Center has become a premiere entertainment and sports venue for North Texas residents.

Located in The Village at Allen, one of the largest mixed-use developments in the state of Texas and country, Allen Event Center is a city owned 8,100 + capacity multi-sport and entertainment arena. In the first three months, the arena hosted a multitude of shows from Reba McEntire, Styx & REO Speedwagon and Lil’ Wayne concerts to ultimate sports like Monster Trucks and Extreme Ice Racing.
