Allen Market Place

The Allen Market Place is:

1. The Exchange: a weekly market for the aggregation and distribution of regionally grown and produced foods. We connect farmers & food producers with restaurants, food service managers, caterers, schools, grocers, institutions and others interested in buying local.

2. A commercially licensed Incubator Kitchen that offers:
A. Farmers and food entrepreneurs the ability to produce value-added goods.
B. Educational classes and opportunities for families on food preparation and preservation of nutritious meals.
C. Training to neighbors and others interested in culinary skills, production of safe and quality foods, or developing a food business.

3. The year-round Allen Farmers Market: a large outdoor market during the summer months that moves indoors during the winter months ensuring year-round access to locally grown produce. We accept debit, credit, SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC, and Senior Project Fresh!

4. Food Storage: Cold storage and dry storage are available year-round.

5. Event venue: we have the Great Room, a place for fundraisers, parties, or special events and the Classroom, a great space for meetings.
