Therefore, glycerine on your skin means moisture is attracted to your skin. Glycerine is so desirable that the large soap manufacturers often remove it so they can use it in more profitable products. When you use Allie Jewel soaps, you can be assured that no low grade oils, waxes, fillers, detergents, or preservatives have been added in place of the glycerine.

My additives include pure essential oils, bath & body safe fragrance blends, skin safe spices & herbs, citrus zest, oatmeal, and cosmetic grade skin clay(s) and cosmetic grade brilliant color micas. I prefer to cook my soap using the hot process method. This leaves a softer bar, a more rustic look, and insures that by the end of the cooking time the saponification process has completed and no lye remains in the finished soaps. I personally cook and test each batch of soap to ensure this.
